About Me

Justin joined the Navy right out of high school and spent a total of ten years serving as a Submarine Officer. He met Jesus in 2006 and has never looked back. He left the Navy in 2009 and entered into full time ministry. He spent three years on staff at Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Wa where he met his wife Elise. They were married in 2010 exactly two years from the day they first met. Justin spent three years working at Mars Hill Church before feeling called to attend seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in Orlando Florida. They moved in late 2012 across country with a 3 month old to begin a new chapter of their life together. 

Justin graduated seminary in 2016 with a Masters of Counseling and came on part time staff at One Hope Church as the Community and Care Pastor and worked as a counselor part time. Justin had various roles at One Hope over the years including, Interim Pastor, Discipleship and Community Pastor, Teaching Pastor and Lead Pastor. Justin finished his Masters of Biblical counseling from RTS in 2018.

In 2021 Justin received his license in the state of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and continued counseling part time while being a full time Pastor at One Hope Church. Justin enjoys working with all people and has experience with those suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, unwanted sexual desires, sexual integrity, burnout, and church wounds. He has counseled dozens of premarital and married couples and is certified in the Prepare and Enrich marriage assessment

But Justin’s deepest passion is to care for ministry leaders and pastors. In 2023 he began a transition away from pastoral ministry and established The Becoming Whole Center which exists to come alongside ministry leaders to facilitate healing, wholeness and renewal so that they can have an even greater kingdom impact. 

Justin has been married to his wife, Elise, since 2010 and they have four beautiful children.
